Apply today to attend the WTS Transportation YOU Capital Summit!

The WTS Capital Summit, the signature program of Transportation YOU, brings high-school aged mentees and industry professional mentors from across the country to the Washington D.C. area for a multi-day summer program of tours, panels, challenges, and interactive experiences showcasing careers in transportation. The Summit encourages student attendees to consider a wide variety of future undergraduate and advanced degree opportunities - STEM, engineering, and beyond!

Each year, female high school student (s) and a mentor are selected and sponsored by the WTS Pittsburgh Chapter to attend. 2024 applications are now open!

The WTS Capital Summit offers attendees a chance to:

• MEET Transportation professionals, college students, administrative officials
• EXPLORE DC and visit destinations like the US Capitol and National Mall, and tour transportation hubs like the BWI airport, Amtrack at Union Station, US DOT, and FHWA Turner-Fairbank Research Center
• EXPERIENCE Engineering challenges, leadership and team building, and personal and professional networking
• LEARN about college readiness and diverse career opportunities in the transportation industry
