Mentoring

The WTS New Jersey Chapter Mentoring Program is an excellent program that provides a forum for emerging professionals in transportation seeking development of the skills necessary to achieve success in both their professional and personal lives. The benefits for mentors and mentees include networking, candid conversations, and confidence building. Other benefits include hearing career success stories from women leaders and creating long-term relationships. The mentee and mentor one-on-one meetings afford unique access to industry leaders and their insight.
2025 Mentoring Program
The WTS New Jersey Chapter Mentoring Program provides a forum for emerging professionals in transportation seeking development of the skills necessary to achieve success in both their professional and personal lives. The 2025 program will be in-person. Mentees and mentors meet on a regular one-on-one basis. The group meets monthly. The monthly sessions will include social events, external speakers, and exercises to develop strategies and identify personal and professional strengths. At the end of the program, there is a graduation ceremony to celebrate the year and individual/collective accomplishments.

The program will run from April through December 2025 with graduation in January 2026. Applications for apprentices and mentors are now open. Apply here! Deadline for applications is Friday, March 19, 2025.
