Honoring a WTS Veteran

Adopted through a congressional resolution in 1926, Veteran’s Day is of both patriotic and historic significance. This important day honors veterans of all wars and is observed on November 11th, the anniversary of the armistice of World War I.
In honor of Veteran’s Day, WTS Philadelphia honors U.S. Air Force Veteran and Sponsor Recognition Chair, Kristen Weber. Kristen is number 40 of our 45 women for our 45th! Thank you, Kristen, for your service to our nation.

Kristen Weber, an identical twin and a mother of two, was born and raised in Arizona. She joined the Air Force in 1996 upon graduating high school. While recently retired, Kristen served 27 years in the Air Force (Active Duty and Reserves) as a Survival Equipment/Aircrew Flight Equipment Technician, a Quality Assurance Technician, a Career Advisor, and an Air Transportation Technician. Kristen was stationed in Alaska for approximately six years while on active duty. She then transitioned back to civilian life to pursue a civil engineering degree and to continue her military career as an Air Force Reservist. Kristen graduated from the University of New Mexico in December of 2007 and has worked in transportation, telecom, and renewable energy along with land development and municipal engineering. Kristen currently works as a Project Manager for Penn E&R.
We salute Kristen, as well as all veterans for their service and dedication!
