What is the WTS Philadelphia Emerging Leaders Program?
It's a forum for early career women and gender-diverse professionals to come together as the next generation of transportation leaders in Philadelphia. You will get the chance to build a network of your peers, access to exclusive speakers and personalized development events based on your interests, and a front row seat to all that WTS Philadelphia has to offer!
Am I eligible to join the program?
Applicants should have between two and eight years of experience years of work experience in the transportation field, exclusive of internships or co-ops. Applicants could be employed at all types of organizations (private, public, or agency) and have all types of job titles within transportation (planner, engineer, architect, proposal coordinator, analyst, administrative professional, tradesperson, marketing specialist, construction manager, and more).
Do I need to be a WTS Philadelphia member to join the program?
No, you do not need to be a member to apply and join the program.
Is there a fee to join the program?
No, there is no fee to be in the Emerging Leaders program. It's FREE!
Is the program in-person or virtual?
The program will be in-person. Meetings are every other month from April 2025 to December 2026. Meetings are typically from 5-7pm on weekdays and located at a Center City sponsor/partner organization’s office.
How do I apply for this program?
Please submit your application by clicking the button below and filling out the form no later than March 7th at 11:59 pm. We will host the kickoff event in-person in April 2025.
