Toni Tinoco is the Central Valley Deputy Regional Director for the California High-Speed Rail Authority and has lead communications, stakeholder engagement and government affairs for the Central Valley for the past seven years. In her role, she has helped elevate the stories and success around the nation’s first high-speed rail system where construction is already taking place in the heart of the Central Valley. Prior to joining the Authority, Tinoco served as a communications specialist and legislative analyst for the Fresno County Board of Supervisors, and was a news reporter for KMJ 580 and editor for KMPH Fox 26 in Fresno, California. She holds her Masters in Public Administration and Bachelors in Broadcast Journalism.

Toni led ValleyBuild NOW's first all-female cohort on a construction tour in late 2022, visiting the 3,700-foot-long Cedar Viaduct, which will carry our trains over Cedar Avenue, North Avenue, and State Route 99 when completed. Read more here.
