This month, I attended the WTS Chapter Leadership Training in Newport Beach, California. During the training, I had the opportunity to connect with leaders from chapters across the nation, discussed potential partnerships and collaborations, and realign with the goals of WTS.

As a membership comprised of subject matter experts, and public and private leaders, WTS will be seeking opportunities to positively influence policies and better connect communities through transportation initiatives. In addition to impacting tangible change, it was truly amazing to witness how other chapters focused on the promotion of the feeder programs like Transportation You, Professional Mentoring Programs, and Emerging Leaders to shape future chapter leaders and foster a pipeline of talent with the transportation field. 

I am extremely thankful to WTS Philadelphia to continuously providing me with opportunities to grow professionally and represent the chapter. It has not only inspired me to future dedicate myself to advocate for gender equity in everything I did but also continuously work towards creating a more inclusive and supportive environment for all professionals.
