Applications are now available for mentors and mentees for this year’s Transportation YOU DC Summit.  The annual summit, usually held in Washington DC, is a signature part of WTS International’s Transportation YOU program. The 2021 DC Summit will be the first held virtually, allowing young women in STEM studies to gather for tours, lectures, and interactive experiences showcasing careers in Transportation from home! 

WTS-Boston has the opportunity to register three students and one mentor as representatives of WTS-Boston’s chapter of Transportation YOU. This year’s DC Summit will be held June 22nd – 24th, 2021, and is a wonderful opportunity to network with some of the top transportation professionals, gain a better understanding about the various opportunities available within the industry, and for students to think about college and the best steps to take to get on track to become a transportation professional. 
 
WTS-Boston is excited to have the opportunity to register up to three mentees and one mentor at no cost to the participants. WTS-Boston will choose the students to attend based on academic interests, extracurricular activities, and demonstrated interest in the Transportation YOU program. Mentors will be chosen based on previous involvement in WTS, the local WTS-Boston Transportation YOU program, as well as commitment and approach to STEM and mentorship.
