WTS-Boston Celebrates Women's History Month
WTS-Boston is celebrating Women's History Month by acknowledging the enormous contributions women have made to the transportation industry, as we continue to attract, sustain, connect, and advance women's careers to strengthen the industry. In the U.S., March is set aside to honor the extraordinary achievements of women throughout history. For 2022, the National Women’s History Alliance selected the theme Providing Healing, Promoting Hope (click here for additional information). The theme is “both a tribute to the ceaseless work of caregivers and frontline workers during this ongoing pandemic and also a recognition of the thousands of ways that women of all cultures have provided both healing and hope throughout history.”
The following programming from WTS International is complimentary to members this month:
- Join the conversation on breaking the bias on March 8 (International Women's Day) at 3 p.m. ET, with current WTS International Board of Directors Member-At-Large and incoming Chair of the WTS International Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion Committee, Helen McSwain, Senior Vice President, Rohadfox Construction Control Services Corporation. Stay tuned for the livestream information to participate.
- Share in the WTS story of advancing women on March 25 from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. ET, with past, present, and future WTS leadership.
