Women & Girls in Transportation Event: "Empower Her Drive: Fueling Futures in Transportation"
The WTS Philadelphia Student Chapter attended the Empower Her Drive: Fueling Futures in Transportation event at the Enterprise Center on Friday, May 24th. This event was hosted by Women and Girls in Transportation Initiative (WITI) to inspire and empower young women and girls to pursue a wide range of exciting career paths in the transportation industry by providing valuable insights, resources, and networking opportunities.
The event had a panel discussion and opportunities for high school and college students to network and connect with the organizations tabling at the event, including our WTS Student Chapter booth. The Student Chapter was able to make some valuable connections with students, local universities, and other organizations interested in building partnerships in the future. Outreach events such as these are an important part of widening our chapters reach and network of students in the Philadelphia area.
