Upcoming: Large Scale Community Visions
Upcoming: Large Scale Community Visions
Spring 2025
The 2019 Parks and Nature Bond’s Large-scale Community Visions program has received six letters of interest (LOI) since solicitation for the program opened on April 15, 2024. The current total request for the six LOIs is $38M, which exceeds the $10M available in this funding cycle. LOIs are reviewed based on compliance with Council approved bond and program criteria and bond requirements, including the need for the resulting project to be a capital asset in public ownership. Applications are underway for the 2024 funding cycle, with the goal of bringing a recommended slate of awards for Council consideration and approval by end of this calendar year. The Metro Council will select projects and make all awards of funding allocations.
The program will have one additional cycle of funding in 2025. If you have ideas that may align with the goals of this program around supporting innovative capital projects that bring nature together with job opportunities, affordable housing or safe transportation and want to connect more with our team, please reach out directly to Linda Bartolini Venegas at [email protected].
