On March 13th, TrYOU co-chairs Kate and Maddie, along with Student Outreach Director Gina, had the privilege of returning to the Boys and Girls Club in Germantown for a second visit this school year. During this session, they had the opportunity to connect with approximately 25 young women, sharing insights into their careers in transportation while sparking excitement for STEM through hands-on activities. The students explored the engineering design process by building and testing paper and straw gliders, and they also designed their own "robots" using a variety of connectors. This event marks the second successful collaboration between TrYOU and the Boys and Girls Club, and the team is enthusiastic about continuing to grow this meaningful partnership in the future.
