TrYOU Collaborates with Congreso de Latinos Unidos

This December at Kensington CAPA High School, TrYOU had the opportunity to collaborate with Congreso de Latinos Unidos, a community-based organization in the City of Philadelphia, on two engaging outreach events.
The first event focused on introducing students to the world of civil engineering through hands-on activities like building paper bridges and constructing houses of cards. Students explored the concepts of structural integrity and design, learning how engineers create solutions to real-world challenges.
In the second event, TrYOU mentors worked with students to create vision boards, providing a space for them to reflect on their dreams and aspirations. This activity encouraged students to visualize their future goals and sparked meaningful conversations about personal growth and career paths.
Both events fostered a sense of curiosity and inspiration among the students!
