TEAM CHANGER: The Effects of DEI on Procurement & Winning Strategies
Consideration of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) continues to permeate the public discourse, and rightly so. On May 7th, WTS Philadelphia teamed with SMPS Philadelphia for a joint event to learn about the transformative ways in which the design and construction community can use and maximize "team changer" methodologies to enhance project delivery.
Panelists included the Honorable Katherine Gilmore Richardson, Councilmember At-Large for City of Philadelphia; Kate Bailey, Director of Procurement at PhilaPort; Kate McNamara, Senior Vice President at Navy Yard PIDC; and Tiffany Spraggins-Payne, Project Director at US DOT-Mid-Atlantic Region, SBTRC at The Enterprise Center. This esteemed panel was moderated by Eileen Della Volle, Vice President of Business Development at KS Engineers.
