Professional Development Event with WTS Works
On November 14th, our Student Chapter held a professional development event at STV with the WTS Works Internship Program.
The attendees had the opportunity to connect with other WTS student and professional members, as well as viewed a presentation by Drexel University professor Bill Felty, who gave the attendees insights on job searching and tips on how to find a fulfilling career. Students were also enlightened on the WTS Works Internship Program, which assists students with placement at WTS sponsor firms and public agencies for summer internships.
The event featured workshops that students rotated through, the first being tips on how to be professional during an interview and entering the workforce. The second rotation included a full review of attendee's resumes by a WTS professional. The final rotation was a mock interview with a WTS professional.
