Kristen Whitman is a senior structural engineer and project manager at Jacobs. She serves as structural lead for transportation projects in Massachusetts, managing the design of bridges and retaining walls and coordinating with other disciplines. Highlights of her 19-year career include work on the Needham/Wellesley I-95 Add-A-Lane project for MassDOT and the Terminal C Roadways project for Massport.

Kristen has been an active member of WTS-Boston since she joined in 2007. She has served as co-chair of several committees, including newsletter, professional development, fundraising and mentoring. In 2019, she helped revive the Boston chapter’s successful formal mentoring program.

In her spare time, Kristen enjoys taking yoga and barre classes. Her weekends and vacations are almost always spent outside, skiing or playing golf.
