Investing in the Region
On February 25, WTS Philadelphia hosted a special panel of planning experts from the Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission (DVRPC) and SEPTA, including Barry Seymour, Elizabeth Schoonmaker, Andrew Svekla, and Jody Holton. Barbara Holcomb, a Camden County Freeholder, DVRPC Board Member, and Manager of Capital Grants, Government Relations, Grants Administration, and Security at the Delaware River Port Authority (DRPA), moderated “DVRPC: Investing in the Region” at the Sofitel Hotel.
The program was named for the DVRPC's recently released annual report and explored many topics, from transportation funding, long-term needs, and strategic plans. To access the report visit https://dvrpc.org/AnnualReport/
Thanks to our subject-matter experts for sharing their knowledge and perspectives on the state of transportation in Greater Philadelphia, and to Alison Hastings, PP/AICP, DVRPC’s Associate Director, Office of Communications & Engagement, for her astute organizational capabilities.
