Highlights From The Women's Empowerment Forum at Simon Gratz High School
On March 29, TrYOU proudly participated in and helped plan the Women’s Empowerment Forum in partnership with the YMCA of Philadelphia to celebrate Women’s History Month. Held at Simon Gratz High School in Philadelphia, the event featured an inspiring panel of accomplished women from a range of fields, including chemical engineering, transportation engineering, business, teaching, architecture, and the medical profession. These trailblazing professionals shared their journeys and insights, empowering students with confidence and real-world guidance. Following the panel, students and guests enjoyed lunch and had the opportunity to network and build meaningful connections. TrYOU extends a heartfelt thank you to the YMCA of Philadelphia for making this impactful and uplifting event possible. Thank you to Gina Venuto, Kate Murphy, Maddie Marquardt, Kiera Crenny, and Rose Rinker for attending as mentors and to WTS Philadelphia Board Members Tamara Nicholson and Jenn Walsh for serving as panelists.
