Event Recap: WTS-Boston March Luncheon Seminar with Tiffany Chu, Chief of Staff to Mayor Michelle Wu
The WTS-Boston Chapter held its March Luncheon Seminar on Tuesday, March 28, 2024, at the Courtyard Marriott in Boston. Awarded the Gold Chapter Circle of Excellence, Boston continues to bring inspirational and informative programming to the industry.
Gina Solman, WTS-Boston President, welcomed the approximately 150 guests at this well-attended event. Before introducing our keynote speaker, she acknowledged and thanked our corporate sponsors and public agency partners for their support.
Gina then welcomed Tiffany Chu, Chief of Staff to Mayor Michelle Wu of the City of Boston, to join her for a fireside chat. Tiffany shared insights into her responsibilities, the challenges she faces, and Boston's ambitious transportation projects. With a wealth of experience in urban transportation and her unique background as a Taiwanese American woman, Tiffany brought a dynamic perspective to the conversation, and inspired the audience by showcasing her dedication to advancing transportation planning.
