Event Recap: WTS-Boston 2022 April Leadership Forum

The Boston Chapter held its Annual April Leadership Forum in person on Wednesday, April 27, 2022, at the Revere Hotel in Boston. As a direct result of our members, leadership, and sponsors, Boston continues to be one the largest and most influential chapters in the overall WTS organization.

Marie Sullivan, WTS-Boston President, welcomed everyone to the first indoor, in-person WTS-Boston event in over two years. Before she welcomed our distinguished guest, she acknowledged and thanked our corporate sponsors and the 2022 leadership. Without their support of WTS-Boston and our mission, Boston would not be as successful a chapter as we are, and we are truly grateful for this.

WTS-Boston was delighted to present the 2022 Leadership Award to Lieutenant Governor Karyn Polito, who is an accomplished leader in our transportation industry and devoted advocate for STEM education, encouraging students to get involved in these important fields.

It was an incredible and inspiring event where Karyn shared highlights of her career and some of her favorite memories from her professional journey. Thanks to all those who were able to attend in person to congratulate Lieutenant Governor Polito on her accomplishments. Congratulations, Karyn!

Special thanks to our Special Projects Committee for planning and running this event, especially co-chairs Victoria Palek (Arcadis), Jackie Davis (HDR Engineering), and their board liaison, Kate Maker (Toole Design).
