The Transportation YOU Committee participated in the WPI Touch Tomorrow STEM Festival on Saturday, April 2nd at Polar Park in Worcester. The event marked the committee’s return to in-person events since the beginning of Covid-19, and was a huge success! About 150 participants visited the TYOU exhibit table where they built unique Puff Mobile creations. Participants were challenged with the task of creating a wind powered car out of paper straws, lifesavers, a sheet of paper, and marshmallows, trying various design ideas to see what would work best. The committee volunteers were outstanding, and it was exciting to finally see/meet each other in person.
