Event Recap: 2022 Transportation YOU Summit
WTS-Boston’s Transportation YOU Committee held its annual Summit on Saturday, October 15, 2022 at Emmanuel College in Boston. The event returned to in-person for the first time since the 2019 Summit and the support was overwhelming! The day included workshops hosted by five transportation firms covering many aspects of transportation, from train station design to utility relocation. After lunch, students had a chance to complete mini-activities, such as a cable-stay bridge demonstration, transportation board games, and cookie decorating. It was a fun-filled day that wouldn’t have been possible without our volunteers and enthusiastic students! We’d like to thank Emmanuel College for graciously allowing us to host our Summit on their campus, and the following firms for providing volunteers, material, and workshops: BSC Group, Fuss & O'Neill, HNTB, Stantec, and STV.
