On August 19, 2021, the WTS-LA College Outreach Committee hosted a virtual happy hour. Students from USC, CSULA, and UCLA as well as various professionals from Parsons, Nossaman, Port of LA and Long Beach, and HNTB joined us for an evening of fun and games! Folks had the opportunity to network with those in the industry and ask any questions career-related question. They also had the opportunity to meet fellow students in the field of transportation from schools other than their own. For some icebreaker activities, we played Pictionary and Bingo, and held a raffle with amazing prizes. Overall, this was an awesome way for students to squeeze in some social time before they kick off the new school year.
