It is that time of year to nominate and celebrate outstanding professionals, projects, and organizations that have made meaningful contributions to our local transportation industry.
The 2025 nomination categories include:
WTS Member of the Year Award: Recognize a WTS member who has made extraordinary contributions to the success of the organization including WTS goals and growth, promoted the reputation of WTS within the transportation industry, strengthened communication between chapters, and has revitalized or expanded a chapter or its functions.
WTS Person of the Year Award (two people): Recognizes a person who is an outstanding role model in transportation. They have made an outstanding contribution to the transportation community, directly contributed toward the advancement of women and minorities, and have advanced the reputation and credibility of women in transportation.
WTS Employer of the Year Award: Recognizes an employer who has exhibited excellence in recruiting, retaining and advancing women.
WTS Rosa Parks Diversity Leadership Award: Recognizes a member who has exhibited excellence facilitating professional opportunities for women and minorities. This includes contribution to promotion inclusion and multi-cultural awareness within their organization, the transportation industry, or in a project or activity that supports the goals and mission of WTS.
WTS Innovative Transportation Solutions Award: Recognize an innovative transportation project led by a woman.
