The Puget Sound Chapter is supported by over 70 board volunteers who planned and held over 18 educational and networking events, including our largest gala ever, which raised over $62,000 for our scholarship program, plus three welcome receptions for new transportation executives. We facilitated our largest mentoring program cohort with over 35 pairs and hosted a professional development workshop on career development. We held over 10 lunches for high school students in the region through our Transportation YOU program, hosted over 30 students on a field trip, and our chapter sponsored 1 Transportation YOU pair (high school student and mentor) to attend the Capital Summit in College Park, MD, and so much more! We focused on reconnecting this year, and we knocked it out of the park with thoughtful in-person board meetings and two board planning retreats!
