Sarah Homberg from Carroll College

Sarah is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree at Carroll College. She is interested in a career in engineering and roadway construction, with hopes of specializing in research and implementation of sustainable methods. In addition to time spent toward her degree, Sarah also serves as Carroll’s ASCE student chapter president, where she has helped organize events such as their annual golf tournament fundraiser and community service roadway cleanup group. As an engineer, Sarah plans to rely on her leadership experiences to complete tasks, motivate others, adapt to changes, and find success in advancing the sustainability of roadway construction. The WTS Spokane/Coeur d’Alene chapter applauds Sarah for her dedication and is pleased to award her with the 2020 Sharon D. Banks Memorial Undergraduate Scholarship.
