Subway Art Presentation with guest speaker Deputy Director Cheryl Hageman - MTA Arts & Design
Learn about the art that decorates our subway and how public art was conceived and installed throughout the subway system. Cheryl Hageman has worked with MTA Arts & Design for more than twelve years. In her role, she is responsible for commissioning new projects and maintaining the permanent art collection throughout the MTA system in and around NYC. She is co-author of the new book “Contemporary Art Underground,” released last month.
