Registration is now open for WTS-Boston's October Luncheon seminar!

On Wednesday, October 16th, the WTS-Boston Programs Committee will be hosting Luisa Paiewonsky and Cynthia Maloney from the U.S. Department of Transportation/Volpe Center.  Celebrating the 3rd Anniversary of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL), they will present the national view of BIL with Massachusetts-specific examples of its impact, followed by the Project Delivery COE as a means of delivering the benefits of BIL to citizens and communities as quickly as possible.

Registration for this event will close on Wednesday, October 9th, or earlier once the venue reaches capacity.  This event is Non-Refundable and no shows will be billed.  When registering, please note Member pricing is for Individual Memberships, not Company Sponsors.

Speakers

Luisa Paiewonsky, Director of the Center for Infrastructure Systems and Technology, directs the work of engineering, planning and technology professionals, focusing on infrastructure modernization, automation and advanced transportation technologies, highway, transit and rail safety, maritime and port infrastructure, and innovative transportation research programs. She manages a portfolio that supports the U.S. DOT agencies, including the federal rail, highway, transit and aviation administrations, the Department of Defense, state Departments of Transportation and international partners.

Cynthia Maloney headshot

Cynthia Maloney is the director of the U.S. DOT Project Delivery Center of Excellence and the chief of the Systems Safety and Engineering Division in the Infrastructure Systems and Technology Technical Center at the Volpe Center. She supervises engineers and transportation analysts who provide technical expertise in rail grade-crossing safety, as well as FHWA and FRA project delivery support. She has more than 25 years of experience in managing large and complex sponsored programs and overseeing the work of multidisciplinary teams.
