Leslie_Merrithew

Leslie Merrithew, P.Eng., PE is a registered professional engineer in Canada (NT/NU, ON) as well as the United States (MA) in Civil Engineering. Her passion is project management and working on fast-paced, multi-disciplinary major APD projects. Leslie has taken on significant leadership roles within the company and is currently responsible for leading our Boston Aviation Infrastructure group in addition to being Stantec's Boston Office Leader (OL). With over a decade of experience working with Stantec, Leslie has led several large projects of high complexity to successful completion. She is an exceptional problem-solver, and thrives in a fast paced, ever-changing environment. Client service, strong communication, attention to detail, leadership, and individual excellence are elements of Leslie's project delivery strategy. In her position as Office Leader, she leads the second largest Stantec office in the US Northeast (approximately 230 staff), and is responsible for the office’s internal operations and facilities, along with setting the tone for a safe, inclusive and supportive culture that facilitates success and provides employees with opportunities for professional development and social events. In her aviation team lead role, Leslie is responsible for winning and distributing work, fostering team accountability to adhere to professional standards, quality assurance, and HSSE practices, developing junior staff and providing opportunities for growth and enhancement of individual and collective team skills in technical areas, and for leading by example by being present, adapting to change, and encouraging team cooperation.

Sarah Lee is the Manager of Transportation Planning at Massport, with 20 years of experience in both the public and private sectors. A trained Civil Engineer, Sarah has spent her career focusing on a broad range of transportation issues, including permitting, bus priority, and parking management. At Massport, Sarah focuses on HOV and public transportation access at the airport, as well as freight and real estate projects in South Boston. Sarah also represents Massport on the Boston MPO. Sarah and her colleagues recently led a number of transportation initiatives to prepare for the summer closure of the Sumner Tunnel, which included a significant amount of communication and collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders.

Danielle_Spicer

Danielle Spicer has over 25 years of experience in the Site/Civil engineering field and currently serves as the Stormwater & Permitting Group Leader at Green International Affiliates. As a Project Manager, she works on projects from initial project setup through completion of construction, with her specialty expertise being in local, state, and federal permitting regulations. She has over 15 years of project management experience, working alongside both civil engineers and landscape architects to produce original and functional designs. Danielle has been an active member of the American and Boston Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE/BSCES) since the beginning of her career. She served on the BSCE Board of Governors for 6 years, as President for 1 year, and served as the Region 1 Governor for ASCE for 6 years. She is an alumnus of University of Vermont, a professional engineer in both Massachusetts and Rhode Island, and is a certified US Green Building Council LEED AP and Envision Sustainability Professional (ENV SP). She resides in Bolton with her husband and 3 children, where she also sits on the town Design Review Board.

Amanda_DeGiorgi

Amanda DeGiorgi has over 10 years of technical project management experience spanning several industries, including transportation, renewables and energy efficiency, national defense, and space science, with one year at HNTB as a program manager. She currently co-leads the consultant team for the Mattapan Line Transformation, is project manager for an MBTA Asset Management GEC, and supports transit fleet and facilities projects across the country. She brings broad knowledge, insightful perspective, and thoughtful communication to the delivery of every project to see the big picture problems and solutions while working with team members to keep an eye on details. She has a Bachelor’s in Physics from University of Chicago and Master’s in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from Princeton University.
