WTS Baltimore presents a Coffee Chat with MTA Executive Director, Martha Gross.
As Executive Director of Transit Development and Delivery, Martha Gross leads the major-projects department for MDOT’s Maryland Transit Administration. Before joining MTA in spring 2024, she held senior roles with the Virginia Department of Transportation on the $4 billion Hampton Roads Bridge-Tunnel harbor crossing, following prior experience with construction and consulting firms. Martha is a published author on major-project delivery, writes questions for the national PE licensure exam, and studied civil engineering in Germany as a Fulbright scholar. She lives in downtown Baltimore and in Riverdale, supporting MTA’s Red Line and Purple Line projects.
