Panel Discussion on the MITTI Report

This event is to discuss the forthcoming MITTI (Minorities in Transportation Technology Initiatives) report. During the event we will hear from Kristal High Taylor, Esq who spearheaded the effort with VOLPE and is the resident expert on the topic. She will give an overview of the report and findings. Following the presentation, a group of panelist including Shelby Scales, Director of the NCDOT Office of Civil Rights; Al Austin, Direction of NCDOT HBCU Outreach; Catherine Peele, Ferry Division Planning and Development Manager; and Clare Fullerton, PE, NCDOT CLEAR Program Manager will discuss the recommendations of the report to the Department.
