Please join us to learn about the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Program, an overview of recent changes, and ongoing supportive services offered to certified DBEs.

On May 9, 2024, US DOT enacted numerous revisions to its in-place rules for administering its DBE Program. The DBE Program was established to ensure that businesses owned by socially and economically disadvantaged persons are provided with an equal opportunity to participate in federally assisted projects. Updates to personal net worth and program size thresholds have been added to foster greater participation. Ongoing supportive services are offered to transportation construction-qualifying certified DBEs to provide training, assistance, and other services to facilitate their development and business growth.
