About our Speaker
Sean Jessup has more than 10 years of engineering experience specifically in support of a variety of offshore wind projects.
Initially working on the Cape Wind Offshore Substation design in 2013 as assistant project manager, Sean has led Moffatt & Nichol’s offshore wind business development efforts since 2015, growing the practice significantly over the past nine years.
He is recognized as a leader in the US Offshore Wind Industry, serving on panels and workshops relating to design standards, port funding, and port design. He served as engineering manager for the recently opened New London State Pier offshore wind port renovation in Connecticut, as well as project manager and engineer of record for the Portsmouth Marine Terminal (PMT) offshore wind staging port renovation and the Dominion Operations and Maintenance Floating Pier in Norfolk.
Mr. Jessup also has extensive experience with obtaining grant funding for offshore wind port infrastructure, supporting grant applications with awards in excess of $100 million.
