30th Street Hard Hat Tour

WTS Philadelphia and Amtrak are thrilled to take you on a hard hat tour of the ongoing renovations of the iconic William H. Gray III 30th Street Station. These improvements will not only enhance the station’s functionality but will also elevate the experience for its thousands of daily visitors. From a stunningly refreshed Market Street Plaza to a vibrant expansion of retail offerings, this project is set to breathe new life into the heart of Philadelphia. Come and see behind the walls at how the construction on the Main Food Hall and South Concourse, started in January 2024, has progressed.

Notes:
All participants are asked to meet the guides at the angel statue near the 29th Street entrance to the station.
Participants are required to bring a hardhat, safety vest, clear safety glasses, and wear closed toe shoes or boots.
An email with tour information will be sent to registrants at COB on April 21st.
No food or beverages are included as part of the event.

Transportation Instructions:

Trains from Amtrak, SEPTA and New Jersey Transit serve the station. The L and the T stop less than a half block from the southwest entrance to William H. Gray III 30th Street Station. Several SEPTA Bus Routes include stops at the station on their routes including Routes 9, 30, 44, 78, 124, 125 and Route 49.
