Meet our presenters:

Monica Tibbits-Nutt, AICP, LEED AP BD+C, she/her (Moderator)
Monica Tibbits-Nutt is the Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) Undersecretary. Prior to MassDOT, Monica was the Executive Director of the 128 Business Council, and recently completed her tenure on the MassDOT Board of Directors and as the Vice-Chair of the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA) Fiscal Management and Control Board. Monica serves on the Board of Directors of WTS International and the WTS Foundation, which seeks to create a more inclusive and equitable transportation industry and provides scholarships to female-identifying professionals and students, respectively; and on the Board of Trustees of TransitCenter, which works to support, inform, connect and fund civic and public leaders working to truly make transit better.

Beth Chandler, she/her (Panelist)
Beth Chandler is President and CEO of YW Boston, with over 20 years of experience in corporate and non-profit sectors. YW Boston helps individuals and organizations change policies, practices, attitudes, and behaviors to create more inclusive work environments where women, people of color, and especially women of color can succeed.

Josiane Martinez, she/her (Panelist)
Josiane Martinez is CEO and Founder at Archipelago Strategies Group (ASG), a full-service marketing, communications and PR agency in West Roxbury that is focused on inclusivity of all community voices, especially those who have been traditionally marginalized. Josiane was recently appointed Chair of the newly established Governor’s Advisory Council on Latino Empowerment.

Jabes Rojas, he/him (Panelist)
Jabes is the Assistant General Manager for Diversity, Equity & Inclusion at the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA). Jabes is a transformative executive leader with nearly 20 years of experience in diversity, equity, and inclusion and corporate social responsibility in the government, non-profit, and corporate sectors. He has a global and national record of success establishing and evolving strategies, programs and policies that steward organizations and society to be more diverse, equitable, and inclusive.
