The Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA) is helping Colorado to repair and rebuild our roads and bridges with a focus on climate change mitigation, resilience, equity and safety for all users, including cyclists and pedestrians. There are other funding opportunities available as well. The challenge is how public agencies can and should prioritize and maximize the benefits from all of the funding opportunities to ensure Colorado is able to make long-term improvements to their system. Join us for a round table discussion on how State and Municipal agencies have been able to successfully prioritize projects and win grants to fund these projects. Panelists will share successes, opportunities and lessons learned about the changes in funding sources in recent years as well as answer questions from the audience.

This panel section will feature:

●     Heather Paddock, Region 4 Transportation Director, Colorado Department of Transportation

●     Julie Constan, Region 5 Transportation Director, Colorado Department of Transportation

●     Anne Beierle, Public Works Director, City of Golden

●     Randy Jensen, former Program Delivery Team Leader for Federal Highways Administration

The panel will be run by the one and only, Shayna Lindeman, who brings years of Marketing & Public Involvement experience from Muller Engineering!
