Understanding bias is vital to creating an equitable world where we can all thrive. A deeper understanding allows us to address the harmful effects of how bias have permeated our society, placing limits on us all.
This June, Women Transportation Seminar Central Florida Chapter (WTSCFL), American
Planning Association – Florida Chapter (APA-FL) and Young Professionals in Transportation Orlando
Chapter (YPT Orlando) will commemorate the anniversary of Juneteenth by hosting a discussion on bias and how we can be the change we want to see.
We will review Proctor & Gambles’ “The Look,” followed by a discussion facilitated by Emmanuella
Myrthil, Diversity Advocate and Champion. Attendees will walk away with a deeper understanding of
