Meet Our Speaker:
Melanie Beaman
Transportation & Mobility Manager | City of Sugar Land
Melanie Beaman is the Transportation & Mobility Manager in the Engineering Department and has been with the City of Sugar Land since September of 2022. She is actively involved in regional transportation planning and serves on multiple working groups and committees.
Prior to joining the City, she was the Mobility Coordinator at Fort Bend County Public Transportation for ten and a half years. She is currently a graduate student at the University of Washington in the Sustainable Transportation Master’s Degree Program in the Civil Engineering Department and will graduate in the summer of 2026.
