Chapter Development Committee
Chair: Kirsten Pennington
Members of the committee will assist the WTS President and CEO in identifying groups interested in becoming chapters of WTS and provide the guidance and resources needed to enable the groups to fulfill requirements to become WTS chapters. Committee members will be asked to travel to interested groups, talk with leaders of the groups, mentor them regarding programs, membership and activities related to fulfilling organizational requirements such as adoption of bylaws, articles of incorporation, and appropriate administrative tasks. Knowledge of chapter organization is essential, and success as a chapter leader will be a great asset. Travel is not reimbursed, so independent support through other business activities is necessary. Time Commitment: 5 hours/month
Chapter Innovations Committee
Co-Chairs: Judy Matsui Drury and Audrey Stuart

Committee members will be asked to share and solicit successful ideas for chapter programs, membership campaigns, governance practice, fundraising strategies, etc. to create toolkits, templates, programs, webinars, etc. that can effectively promote effective/best practices among chapters and develop innovative approaches to the issues common to chapters. Committee members should have experience at the chapter leadership or committee level and the ability to participate in conference calls, communicate with other chapter leaders, work on projects and participate in the sharing of ideas in articles, programs or at Chapter Leadership Training. Time Commitment: 5 hours/month
